[Podcast]

In psychotherapy, I get to understand why I do what I do but – at least some times – I still do it. Intellectual comprehension of our emotions, it seems, needs a somatic counterpart.

Right?

This is the third Somatic Philosophy podcast episode, and now we’re going to experiment a little. For if we lay low on direction and let our dialogue bring about what it will, we could perhaps finally step out of that striving energy and into the emergent energy.

Here follows a conversation with Heather Levenstein, freelancing violist and Mind Recovery Systems therapist based in Göteborg, Sweden. We talk about being ready, the power of words, treating illness versus creating health, the body’s symptoms language and the mind’s interpretation tool … And, we talk about tapping.
